Personal Information

Buildingi collects and maintains personal information solely for use in the performance of Customer Services and Site operations. This includes names and contact information, such as email addresses, mailing/street addresses and telephone numbers. Unless specified otherwise, Buildingi does not collect sales information such as credit card numbers or highly sensitive personal data such as social security numbers.

Accessing Your Personal Information

You may access and maintain/update your personal information in the Site at any time by clicking the Settings link in the top menu.

Customer Confidential or Proprietary Information

Buildingi collects and maintains confidential or proprietary Customer information. This information may be in the format of data or binary, digital files.

Non-Disclosure Agreement

All users applying for a Site account must attest that they have read, understood and agree to the terms of the Non-Disclosure Agreement for account approval and creation. The Non-Disclosure Agreement may be defined by Customer and made active at any time. Of course, Buildingi holds ourselves accountable for the same Non-Disclosure Agreement.

The Way We Use Information

Buildingi uses personal and Customer confidential or proprietary information solely for business purposes in the performance of site operations and services per agreed upon Customer terms and conditions.

Buildingi shall not engage in sharing of data, binary files or other types of Customer information with third parties without prior written consent and approval by the Customer.

Buildingi shall protect personal and confidential or proprietary Customer information disclosed to third parties by contractual agreements stipulating the confidentiality of the information and the purpose for which it is to be used.

How We Secure Data

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and store in our data center.

The nature of the safeguard procedures will vary depending on the sensitivity, amount, distribution and format of the information and the method of storage. More sensitive information will be safeguarded by a higher level of protection. Methods of protection include:

(a) Physical measures such as locked filing cabinets and restricted access to offices and data storage facilities;

(b) Organizational measures such as limiting and controlling entry to data centers and limiting access to information on a business imperative or “need-to-know” basis;

(c) Technological Measures such as the use of passwords and encryption, routine data backups and secure storage of failsafe/redundant data storage and;

(d) Investigative measures in cases where Buildingi has reasonable grounds to believe that personal and confidential or proprietary Customer information is being inappropriately collected, used or disclosed.
